MP Attiyah calls for inclusion of rapists in amnesty law, on conditions

Al-Anbat- MP Khalil Hussein Attiyah in a statement on Sunday, December 30, 2018, called for the inclusion of those convicted of crimes of rape, molestation and kidnapping in the new amnesty law that is being presented to the House of Representatives for discussion and approval.

In his statement, MP Attiyah conditioned that these convicts prove the victims’ release of personal right and reconciliation with the victim and their family.

Attiyah justified that the amnesty law should be "a good omen for those in rehabilitation centers, and so they can return to their lives and work and homes."
