Tax: Upload 40,000 invoices on fawateery app

Within a week of its launch, the number of invoices that were downloaded and sent through the Fawateery application reached about 40,000 invoices.

 The Tax Department said in a statement, on Tuesday, that the application is available on Google play and Apple Store, and anyone can download it and then enter his national number and date of birth to complete his registration on the application and then be able to copy and upload any invoice for goods and services  on him.

 The Tax Department clarified that the application does not require the use of a password or a user name, and it is easy to use for everyone who downloads it, and it does not require any identifiers or entering information and codes.

 The department indicated that it will offer prizes to users of the application, including financial values, assets and devices such as phones, television screens, electronic and electrical devices, the value of the submitted invoice, a percentage of its value, the value of the tax paid on it, or a percentage of it, or a subscription to services for a specified period or an in-kind prize.

pointed out that the first in-kind prize is a Kia Sportage model 2023, and the first material prize is 25,000 dinars, indicating that these prizes are provided by the Income and Sales Tax Department.

It is noteworthy that the "My Fawateer” application was launched to encourage citizens and residents to request invoices for any purchase of a commodity or the payment of any amount instead of receiving a service, which contributes to encouraging the application of the "invoicing” system.
