Amman, the Kingdom of Jordan – 04 July, 2022: In collaboration with the World Waterpark Association, Saraya Aqaba Waterpark, the first-of-its-kind in Aqaba and the largest in the Kingdom hosted the World’s Largest Swimming Lesson™ on 23 June, 2022.
The World’s Largest Swimming Lesson is a global drowning prevention event that joins together thousands of children and parents from around the world to stress the importance of swimming at an early age. With plenty of entertainment and fun provided by Saraya Aqaba Waterpark, guests enjoyed a unique opportunity to make one big splash and spread one collective message: "Swimming lessons save lives”.
Guests aged between 4 – 14 of all skill levels participated in this once-in-a-lifetime event and were divided into groups with the supervision and guidance of different certified instructors and lifeguards. By the end of the event, guests took home memorable pictures with their loved ones in an exciting activity that brought together safety and fun for all.
