In an
exclusive interview with Al-Anbat over investment in Jordan, Sheikh Ali bin
Hussein Al-Sada, who is an investor from brotherly Qatar, praised the good
bilateral relationships bonding the two countries both leadership and people,
He also said that such good relationships, economic coordination, and
investment facilitations gave him the motivation to go ahead and invest in
Jordan’s financial market.
Al-Sada owns
big shares in different shareholding companies in the financial market, one of
them is Al-Amal, that is expected to be a pioneer in the area of investment in
Jordan, giving the market the hope and boost needed in the near future.
Al-Sada
commended the Jordanian market and he stressed the fact that it will be the
preferred market by investors in the coming years. He noted that there must be
some cooperation by the departments concerned to help bring success to this
promising market. This can be achieved by promoting investment and facilitating
administrative procedures for investors to make the market appealing for them.
He is advising Arabs and Qataris to make investment in the Jordanian market,
noting that Jordan is ranked second for Qataris in terms of investment.
He added
that the Jordanian government made laws and regulations to attract investment,
confirming that it not failing in its duties of seeking investment and
improving the investment climate but there is a slight flaw in the mechanism of
implementing and more flexibility is needed. He praised the work of the
Investment Ministry and engineer Khairy Amro the Investment Minister, who
granted him an (A) investment card in the time span of one day. This is
unprecedented in the bureaucracy of the government. He said that this proves
that employees in that Ministry are extremely cooperative.
