الأنباط -On May 18, 2020, Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA)Jordan Office and Balqa’ Applied University (BAU) commenced the implementation of the project for "Developing Technical Education Programs at Al-Balqa Applied University in Al-Karak and Irbid(2020-2024/10 million USD)” by signing the Record of Discussion.
In an effort to support the national endeavors to tackle the chronic issue of high youth unemployment rate in Jordan, KOICA and BAU joined hands todevise the project in alignment with The Jordan National E-TVET Strategy 2014-2020, aiming to increase the employment opportunities of the graduates of the eight(8) supported majors in Irbid University College and Karak University College.

BAU will contribute 4 million USD for the construction of labs and workshops in this project. As partners, contributing together with 10 million USD is an example of the exerted effort to achieve one shared goal.
