His Majesty King Abdullah II will visit Poland on Tuesday as
part of a European tour that include Austria, Germany and the United
Kingdom.
King is scheduled to meet with the Polish president, followed by a visit to the Unknown Soldier
Memorial in Poland.
Talks during the meeting will focus on bilateral relations and means to expand cooperation with these
countries, as well as regional and international developments.
During the visit to Austria, which began on Monday, the King held talks with Austrian President
Alexander van der Bellen on the friendly relations between the two countries and means of expanding cooperation in the economic,
commercial and military fields.
His Majesty attended a mobilization exercise at the headquarters of the Austrian Special Task Force
"Cobra” and was briefed on a number of weapons and military equipment, and the latest technology
and methods used in special operations.
On Wednesday, King will hold talks with German Chancellor Angela Merkel.
His Majesty's visit to the United Kingdom starts next Thursday through Monday, where he will hold
meetings with the British Prime Minister and senior officials, meetings with the Speaker of the House of Commons and the heads and members of committees in the British Parliament, a meeting with
members of the Jordan Group in the British Parliament, and a meeting with a number of British officials and parliamentary, academic and intellectual figures.
This is followed by participation in the Climate Summit (COP26) in Glasgow, Scotland, where the Royal
Tour aims to strengthen cooperation mechanisms with Austria, Poland, Germany and the United
Kingdom, and to address regional and international developments.
