Israeli forces evacuate Bab al-Rahma amid settlers' incursions

الأنباط - Israeli Occupation Forces on Monday evacuated the courtyard of the Bab al-Rahma praying area, inside Al-Aqsa Mosque in occupied Jerusalem, according to Palestinian sources.

General Director of the Jerusalem Endowment and Al-Aqsa Mosque Affairs Department, Sheikh Azzam Al-Khatib, told Petra's reporter in Ramallah that Israeli police started evacuating Muslim worshipers from the Mosque's courtyard, while 50 radical settlers stormed the area since the early morning hours.

"The settlers' incursion was amid heavy protection by the Israeli police and through different gates of the Mosque's compound," he added.
