"Al Fayez" hosts the meetings of deputies for two months
The Council shall form its standing committees and discuss its response to the Throne speech today

The House of Representatives will hold its first session outside the dome of the National Assembly this morning due to the modernization work that the Council has begun to implement within the Dome, which will last for two months in accordance with the approved modernization plan.
The council is meeting today at its second regular session in Akef al-Fayez to elect members of its 20 standing committees, amid numerous parliamentary understandings on the formation of committees, apparently in a dispute over the membership of a limited number of committees that may need direct elections to elect its members.
The council is holding two morning and evening sessions in a narrow hall that can accommodate only 138 seats. This will affect the mechanisms of MPs and journalists who decide to allocate another hall adjacent to the Fayez hall.
The session will take place this morning amid doubts about the possibility of holding such meetings at a time when it is intended today to measure their validity before thinking about different solutions for the transfer of meetings of the Council to them.
It is expected that the Dome of the Council will be updated by providing the latest audio devices, digital broadcasting and electronic voting, which will make it easier for deputies to work.
It is scheduled to hear the Council in a private session of the form of response to the sermon of the throne set by the Parliamentary Repentance Committee before the Council begins the election of its Standing Committees
The Legal Committee, the Finance Committee, the Committee on Economy and Investment,The Committee on Education and Culture, the Youth and Sports Committee, the National Guidance and Information Committee, the Health and Environment Committee, the Committee on Agriculture and Water, the Committee on Labor and Social Development and Population, the Committee on Energy and Mineral Resources,The Committee on Tourism and Antiquities, the Committee on Public Liberties and Human Rights, the Committee of Palestine, the Committee on Rural and Badia, the Committee on Conduct , the Commission on Integrity, Transparency and Fact-finding, and the Committee on Women and Family Affairs.
