The Israeli military has issued an urgent warning to residents of approximately 30 towns in southern Lebanon, urging them to evacuate their homes and move north.
The warning comes as the military conducts operations against what it describes as Hezbollah targets, cautioning civilians against remaining in the specified areas.
Israeli strikes in Lebanon have reportedly resulted in casualties. According to an updated official count, 52 people have been killed in Monday's strikes. The Israeli military continues to target sites it claims are linked to Hezbollah.
The Lebanese government's disaster management unit reported 52 fatalities and 154 injuries resulting from the strikes. The agency also noted that some 28,500 individuals have been displaced from their homes due to the ongoing bombardment.
The escalation follows rocket fire launched by Hezbollah towards Israel. This exchange is part of a broader regional escalation involving Israel, the United States, and Iran.
