Independent Elections: (17801) registered in the Ana usharek”I Participate” Program - Universities

The Independent Electoral Commission announced that the total number of participants Ana usharek” I Participate” Program - Universities in its three stages amounted to (17801) male and female participants, of whom (6992) were males, while the number of females  reached (10809), representing (47) governmental and private universities and colleges.  

The authority indicated that the number of those registered in the basic stage of the Ana usharek"I participate” program reached (13632), of whom (5406) ​​were males, while the number of females reached (8226), and the number of those registered in the Ana usharek "I participate +” stage reached (3660) participants, including (1359) males, and (2301) females, and as for the Ana usharek "Fellowship I Participate” programme, the number of registered participants was (509), of whom (227) were males and (282) were females.  

The Commission stated that the Ana usharek"I Participate - Universities" program, which is implemented by the Independent Election Commission, in partnership with the Wali and Covenant Foundation, in cooperation with Jordanian universities and colleges, and with the support of the Partnership Project, aims to integrate Jordanian youth in universities in dialogue and public action, in implementation of the vision of the Jordanian state , by activating the role of youth and their participation in the political, economic and social fields, in addition to creating a space for dialogue between youth at the university level, then the governorates, and then at the national level, with the aim of opening the door for dialogue to listen to their priorities within political participation. 

The Commission added that the program covers a number of national issues and priorities, the most important of which are party work, the rule of law, the political participation of youth and women, national identity, and other issues, all from a youth point of view, with the aim of creating space to come up with national visions and perceptions towards these various priorities.
