Jordan's Entrepreneurial Issues Were Highlighted by Underfunding

Entrepreneurship is about putting ideas into action through a vision of possibilities, solutions, and sustainability. This encourages entrepreneurs to take an idea and turn it into a successful project that will benefit them in terms of both scientific and financial gain.
Despite the fact that entrepreneurs have had numerous achievements, they have also had to overcome many difficulties in order to complete their own projects, whether they are personal or institutional ideas.
The biggest problem, according to economic analyst Mazen Irsheed, is finding funding for these projects. He said that banks are making the financing process more difficult because of concern for a financial disaster brought on by the economically and financially pointless, which would prevent the bank from getting its money back and would cause it to get trapped in a circle of distressed and problematic debts. Despite the fact that entrepreneurs have had numerous achievements, they have also had to overcome many difficulties in order to complete their own projects, whether they are personal or institutional ideas.
Through Al-Anbat, he put out a number of ideas to protect banks' rights and recover the money they lend to businesses. One of these ideas was to coordinate the Central Bank of Jordan with public commercial banks by assigning around 5% of the bank deposits, which totaled more than 30 billion Jordanian dinars, with the intention of giving the money to business owners.
Through the Ministry of Investment and the Ministry of Labour and Planning, the central bank and the government can assist investors by providing tax advantages and lowering operating costs for at least the first five years so that the investor or entrepreneur can start his or her own business without the need for loans or to rely on the government for employment.
The problems and difficulties faced by entrepreneurs in starting their own entrepreneurial and economic venture, according to Shurooq Hilal, the Ministry of Digital Economy and Leadership's media spokesman, the unpredictable nature of the variables in the business environment, the absence of technological integration, the limited access to Arab, regional, and worldwide markets, the leakage of capabilities to nearby markets, the avoidance of risk and hesitance, and the lack of a ready infrastructure of laws, rules, training, and awareness-raising, other issues with taxation, access to credit, and increased financial constraints on enterprises are present, as well as inadequate support for research and development and regulation of e-commerce.
The government acknowledges that entrepreneurship development heavily depends on nurturing and utilizing young talent, building their capacities, and enabling them to engage in production and work, she continued, pointing out that the government has endorsed the General Entrepreneurship Policy and the National Strategic Plan (2021–2025), which allow young people to take on a variety of roles in the economy.
