The National Center for Cyber Security has completed
dealing with 500 cyber security cases of various classifications since the
beginning of this year, according to the director of the center, Bassam
Maharmeh.
Al-Maharma said, according to what was reported by AlMamlakah,
on Monday that "one of the cases that have been terminated from the center
affects national security."
On Monday, the Central Bank of Jordan and the National
Center for Cyber Security signed an agreement to enhance the exchange of
services, develop the response unit in the Central Bank, and protect
information exchange systems.
The law defines cyber security in Jordan as the measures
taken to protect systems, networks, information and critical infrastructures
from cyber security incidents, and the ability to restore their work and
continuity, whether access to them without permission or misuse or as a result
of ethics in following security procedures or being deceived that leads to
that.
