Iran's Revolutionary Guard announced on Monday that it attacked an oil tanker in the Strait of Hormuz, claiming the vessel was linked to the United States. The attack occurred on the third day of alleged U.S.-Israeli aggression against Iran.
The Guard stated that the oil tanker, identified as the "Athi Nova," remains ablaze in the Strait of Hormuz after being struck by two drones.
On Saturday, the Revolutionary Guard asserted that the Strait of Hormuz, a critical waterway for oil and gas shipments, had become unsafe due to U.S. and Israeli actions, leading to a declaration of its closure.
