AMMAN - Jordan is commemorating the anniversary of the Arabization of its army's leadership, a pivotal moment in the nation's history that solidified its sovereignty.
Speaker of the House, Mazen Al-Qadi, extended his heartfelt congratulations to King Abdullah II on this significant occasion, recognizing the historical importance of the decision to Arabize the army's leadership.
Al-Qadi, speaking on behalf of the members of the House of Representatives, conveyed his deepest felicitations to King Abdullah II, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and to the dedicated personnel of the Jordanian Armed Forces and security agencies, both active and retired.
He emphasized that the decision to Arabize the army's leadership, made by the late King Hussein bin Talal, firmly established national sovereignty.
