ANTALYA, Turkey - Jordan's U-20 women's national football team has commenced its training camp in Antalya, Turkey, in preparation for the upcoming Asian Cup finals in Thailand in April.
The training camp, which will run until March 5th, includes participation in a friendly tournament designed to fine-tune the team's skills and strategies ahead of the continental competition.
The team's first training session, held Monday evening at the Emirhan grounds, focused on recovery exercises, overseen by coach Hussam Abu Riash. All players were present, with the exception of Janan Al-Saeed, Sarah Al-Zoubi, and Celine Shenk, who are expected to join the squad in the coming days.
Jordan is scheduled to face Thailand on Saturday at the Emirhan Stadium. They will then compete against Russia on March 3rd at the same venue, marking the conclusion of the friendly tournament.
The squad comprises 26 players: Celine Saif, Celine Shenk, Sajeda Issa, Renata Al-Badayna, Alma Al-Saifi, Dana Abu Hazeem, Diana Khawaja, Hala Marar, Kanda Al-Titi, Lamar Ibrahim, Lian Dmour, Lynn Abu Helwa, Mira Attari, Maya Awadallah, Mira Jarar, Marah Abbas, Raghad Tarawneh, Rama Khashouk, Ranim Daoud, Riana Issa, Sadeen Obeidat, Sawar Obeid, Sarah Al-Zoubi, Nadine Abu Salha, Haya Abu Ali, and Janan Al-Saeed.
