Atletico Madrid secured their place in the Champions League round of 16 after Alexander Sorloth's hat-trick spearheaded a 4-1 victory against Club Brugge on Tuesday.
The Spanish side advanced with a 7-4 aggregate score following the two-legged playoff.
Joni Cardoso contributed another goal for Atletico, while Joel Ordonez scored for Brugge in the 36th minute.
Atletico's opening goal came after Club Brugge's Hugo Vetlesen squandered two early opportunities. The visiting team initiated the match with intense attacking pressure, aiming to overturn their 3-3 draw from the previous week's first leg.
However, Atletico Madrid's superior quality became apparent, particularly as they dominated the second half.
