Gold Prices Steady in Jordan Amidst Subdued Trading

AMMAN - Gold prices remained stable in Jordan on Saturday, with the popular 21-carat gold trading at 106.7 Jordanian dinars per gram for sellers and 101.8 dinars per gram for buyers, according to jewelers.

The General Syndicate of Owners of Trade and Jewelry Shops reported that demand and supply were weak.

The price for buying one gram of 24-carat gold reached 122.3 dinars, while 18-carat gold was priced at 95 dinars.

The price of a Rashadi lira, weighing 7 grams, reached 612 dinars, and the English lira, weighing 8 grams, was priced at 700 dinars.
