A 16-year-old boy has died in Jordan's Ruseifa district following an alleged assault by his father, according to a statement from the Public Security Directorate.
The incident reportedly occurred after a dispute between the father and son, during which the father allegedly struck the teen with a blunt object.
The injured boy was immediately rushed to a local hospital for medical treatment, but succumbed to his injuries shortly after arrival, officials stated.
Authorities have launched a manhunt for the father, who fled the scene following the incident. An investigation is currently underway to determine the full circumstances surrounding the teen's death, the Public Security Directorate confirmed.
