Jordan is set to experience cold weather across most regions, with a slight chance of light rain in the north, according to weather forecasts.

Temperatures will fluctuate throughout the week, with a minor increase on Tuesday followed by a slight dip on Wednesday. Thursday will see another small rise, bringing relatively cold conditions to most areas and milder temperatures to the Jordan Valley, Dead Sea, and Aqaba.

The Jordan Meteorological Department warned of potential frost formation in the early morning hours, particularly over mountainous areas and parts of the desert. There is also a possibility of fog developing over high northern mountain peaks during the early mornings.

Winds will generally be moderate, shifting between northeasterly and northwesterly directions. They may occasionally become more active, especially in desert regions.

Today, temperature ranges are expected to be between 15-5 degrees Celsius in East Amman and 13-3 degrees Celsius in West Amman. Northern highlands will see 11-2 degrees Celsius, while the Sharah highlands could reach 12 to -1 degrees Celsius. The Badia region will experience 17-4 degrees Celsius, plains 16-5 degrees Celsius, northern Jordan Valley 22-6 degrees Celsius, southern Jordan Valley 24-11 degrees Celsius, Dead Sea 23-10 degrees Celsius, and Aqaba Gulf 24-11 degrees Celsius.
