Jordan has strongly condemned recent attacks targeting its territory and neighboring Gulf states, emphasizing its commitment to protecting its sovereignty and maintaining stability in the region.

Speaker of Parliament Mazen Al-Qadi stated that Jordan stands united behind King Abdullah II in his decisions and measures to safeguard the nation. Al-Qadi made these remarks during a parliamentary session where he addressed the escalating regional tensions.

The speaker denounced missile attacks as a grave violation of international law and principles of good neighborliness, further cautioning that such actions could broaden the scope of conflict within the region.

Jordan, according to Al-Qadi, has consistently advocated for peaceful resolutions regarding Iran. Despite these efforts, Jordanian territory was breached, an action met with a firm response by the nation's armed forces.

“We stand in the House of Representatives behind His Majesty King Abdullah II, as he clearly declared that Jordan will not be a party to any regional escalation, and that our sovereignty is a red line,” Al-Qadi affirmed, highlighting the unwavering support for the King's stance.

Al-Qadi also conveyed Jordan's solidarity with Gulf nations, asserting that their security is intertwined with Jordan's own. He voiced support for any measures they undertake to protect their homelands.

Furthermore, Al-Qadi lauded the Jordanian Armed Forces for their role in safeguarding the nation's skies and territory. He extended congratulations to King Abdullah II, the Supreme Commander, on the anniversary of the Arabization of the army leadership, a decision that symbolized sovereignty and independence.

He concluded by expressing pride in the nation's leadership, armed forces, and security personnel, acknowledging their dedication to protecting Jordan's security and stability.
