The Vocational Training Corporation (VTC) has commenced accepting online applications for the first session of the 2026-2027 training year, marking a significant step in its ongoing commitment to empower youth with essential vocational and technical skills demanded by the labor market.
Graduates from high schools, diploma holders, university graduates seeking employment, and individuals who have not completed their education are encouraged to register and leverage the specialized training programs offered at VTC institutes across the Kingdom, according to an official statement. These programs aim to broaden their prospects in the local, regional, and international job markets.
Raafat Al-Sawafin, the acting Director-General of the VTC, emphasized that the corporation has evolved beyond traditional training, establishing itself as a national platform for preparing qualified professionals in accordance with modern standards, supported by advanced infrastructure and comprehensive geographical coverage.
The VTC is steadily advancing towards the development of an integrated vocational training system by modernizing its workshops and laboratories to align with the rapid transformations in the labor market, Al-Sawafin noted. He added that effective partnerships with the public and private sectors, as well as several international entities, contribute to refining trainees' skills and enhancing their opportunities for sustainable employment within and outside the Kingdom.
The VTC’s programs, lasting at least one year, combine theoretical qualification with intensive practical training in workshops and laboratories equipped with the latest technologies, under the supervision of qualified and highly experienced training staff, Al-Sawafin confirmed.
General admission requirements include a minimum age of 16 years and payment of the prescribed fees according to the program or training level. Applicants must complete the online registration process and attach the required documents, including a personal identification or family book, military service book for males (deferred or exempted), and the latest academic qualification obtained.
To ensure ease of registration, the VTC has allocated technical support through vocational counselors in its 33 institutes located in various governorates, along with a hotline and support channel via WhatsApp at 0798137070 to answer inquiries and provide immediate assistance to those wishing to register.
Registration covers a range of in-demand professional fields, including hairdressing and beauty, information technology, electronics, handicrafts, metal forming, mechanical maintenance, vehicle mechanics and electricity, air conditioning, refrigeration, plumbing, textile and leather industries, tourism programs, food industries, electricity and power, carpentry, decoration, healthcare, printing trades, and agricultural professions.
