Jordan's Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research has initiated the first phase of disbursing grants and loans to students for the 2025-2026 academic year, totaling 2.5 million Jordanian dinars.
The ministry stated that financial allocations for the first semester of 2025-2026 will be distributed to continuing students nominated for grants from the Student Support Fund in the northern and central regions. The universities included in this phase are Al-Hussein Bin Talal University, Tafila Technical University, the University of Jordan's Aqaba branch, and Al-Balqa Applied University's Shobak and Aqaba colleges.
Students can collect their financial aid using their university ID or civil ID card from Cairo Amman Bank branches, starting Thursday, March 5, 2026.
The ministry affirmed that it would announce subsequent disbursements to students upon completion of the necessary procedures.
