Amman, September 24, 2025 : Zain Jordan has announced its sponsorship as the Golden Sponsor of Jordan Fintech Festival 2025, held under the patronage of H.E. Dr. Adel Sharkas, Governor of the Central Bank of Jordan, and organized by the Central Bank of Jordan in collaboration with Arab Monetary Fund, the German Agency for International Cooperation or (GIZ), and Association of Banks in Jordan, at the Four Seasons Hotel  Amman.
Zain Jordan’s sponsorship comes as part of its efforts to solidify the Kingdom’s position on the global fintech map and to support national initiatives aimed at accelerating digital transformation across various economic sectors, particularly the financial technology sector. This commitment aligns with the company’s strategy to provide advanced solutions that promote financial inclusion through secure and innovative electronic payment services, facilitating the operations of both individuals and businesses while keeping pace with global developments.
As a key enabler of Jordan’s digital infrastructure, Zain has strengthened its role through continuous investments in modern telecom networks, The Bunker, its regional data center, cloud computing, Internet of Things (IoT), and artificial intelligence (AI). These investments have contributed to enhancing the Kingdom’s readiness for digital economy transformation and reinforcing its position as a regional hub for technology and innovation. This sponsorship also reflects Zain’s commitment to supporting the technology and innovation ecosystem in Jordan and contributing to the development of the digital economy in line with the Economic Modernization Vision, by accelerating digital transformation and adopting the latest technologies to boost local market competitiveness and achieve pioneering national milestones.
As part of the festival, Zain showcased two dedicated pavilions: one for its financial arm, Zain Cash, which presented a wide range of innovative fintech services and solutions designed for individuals and enterprises. Through this, Zain Cash continues its role in driving financial inclusion and promoting the adoption of digital financial services by offering secure, reliable, and user-friendly financial solutions.
The second pavilion, dedicated to Zain Business, featured a variety of cloud-based and AI-powered business solutions tailored to support enterprises across all sectors in the Kingdom. Visitors also had the opportunity to experience a Virtual Reality (VR) tour of Zain’s state-of-the-art regional data storage and disaster recovery center, The Bunker, offering a unique immersive experience that simulated a real-life walkthrough of the facility and its services.
Jordan Fintech Festival 2025 witnessed wide participation from central bank leaders, securities commissions, financial and banking sector representatives, entrepreneurs, investors, and regional and international experts. Discussions covered the latest global trends, best practices, and innovation opportunities to accelerate digital transformation.
The two-day event served as a high-level platform for dialogue on key topics, including the future of digital payments, virtual assets, open finance, AI in financial services, as well as cybersecurity and consumer protection. Several specialized workshops were also organized, most notably a workshop on virtual assets led by the Central Bank of Jordan in cooperation with the Arab Monetary Fund, with broad participation from regulatory and supervisory bodies, law enforcement agencies, and financial institutions.
