Al-Anbat – Dema Hina
On Tuesday evening, the Mosaica Choir performed at the
Rainbow Theater in Amman, as part of its Ramadan performances that fit the
atmosphere of the holy month.
Over an hour, the group of 21 singers and three performers
led by the Director of the part, Nadi al-Mona, presented invocations, muwashahat,
chants, and songs for an hour, with which the audience, searching for immortal
works of art, interacted with them.
The band's singers
also sang the Jordanian heritage, presented national works reflecting people's
relationship with the land and the homeland, and concluded their concert with
the performance of "Zahrat al-Madaen”.
The idea of the Mosaica Choir singing is based on presenting
works of art from the Arab Musical Library while presenting them with a new
music that suits the spirit of the times in a way that makes sure to amaze the
audience with what they listen to.
The Mosaic Choir is a Jordanian singing group founded in
2019, a member of the World Choir Music Federation, and represented Jordan at
the 2022 World Choir Festival in Lisbon/Portugal.
The choir seeks to enrich the Jordanian cultural scene
through collective singing. The members of the choir gather together on the
love of music and creative art of all ages, cultural backgrounds, and varying
musical experiences, to create one sweet and harmonious sound, just as mosaic
pieces of varying colors and different shapes come together to make rare pieces
of art, which is the reason for its name.
