The women's national team beats Mongolia in the Asian qualifiers

Our Women’s national under 20 football team opened its campaign by defeating Mongolia, on Wednesday.

The national team defeated the Mongolian national team, in the meeting that was held at the Petra Stadium in Al-Hussein Youth City, in the opening of the Asian Cup qualifiers, 4 goals to 1.

The capital, Amman, will host the Group D qualifiers, which includes the teams of Mongolia, Bhutan and Lebanon.

The women's national team will play its second match against Bhutan next Friday, and will conclude its campaign in the first round by facing Lebanon next Sunday.

According to the qualifying system, the participating teams were divided into seven groups, each comprising 4 teams, and one comprising 3 teams, provided that the first-placed team from the eight groups qualifies for the second round of the qualifiers, which will be held from 3 to 11 June 2023, while The top four teams qualify for the continental finals.
