Saudi Ceramics Company achieved profitability in 2025, reporting a net profit of 180.7 million riyals ($48.2 million), a significant turnaround from a loss of 71.8 million riyals ($19.2 million) in 2024, the company said.

The company attributed the improved financial results to a substantial increase in gross profit, amounting to 176 million riyals ($46.9 million). This growth was driven by increased sales and improved profit margins, supported by cost optimization and enhanced operational efficiency across all product lines, according to a statement released on the Saudi stock exchange, Tadawul.

Further bolstering the company's performance was a 120 million riyal ($32 million) insurance settlement received during the year. This compensation was related to damages incurred from a fire at the second sanitary ware factory on July 15, 2023.

The previous year included the allocation of 50 million riyals ($13.3 million) for inventory provisions.

The company's revenues also saw a notable increase of 10.5 percent, reaching 1.49 billion riyals ($397.3 million) in 2025, compared to 1.34 billion riyals ($357.3 million) in 2024. This growth was primarily driven by higher sales of tiles, water heaters, and red bricks.

Results for 2024 included non-cash losses due to the impairment of property, plant, and equipment in the red brick sector, as well as impairments in the property, plant, and equipment of the subsidiary, Saudi Ceramics Pipes Company, totaling 51 million riyals ($13.6 million). This negatively impacted the year-on-year comparison.
