Jordanian Officials Sworn In to Key Regulatory Posts

AMMAN - Several key Jordanian officials have been sworn in before Prime Minister Bisher Al-Khasawneh, marking the commencement of their roles in vital regulatory bodies.

Adnan Al-Swair assumed the position of Chairman of the Board of Commissioners of the Petra Development and Tourism Region Authority, following royal assent to the cabinet's decision on his appointment.

Ahmed Ababneh was also sworn in as a member of the Board of Commissioners of the Energy and Minerals Regulatory Commission. Razzan Al-Shafei took the oath as a member of the Board of Commissioners of the Jordan Securities Commission, both appointments also receiving royal approval based on cabinet decisions.

The swearing-in ceremony was attended by Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Saleh Al-Kharabsheh, Minister of State for Prime Ministry Affairs Abdullatif Al-Njadawi, Chairman of the Board of Commissioners of the Energy and Minerals Regulatory Commission Ziad Al-Saaideh, and Chairman of the Board of Commissioners of the Jordan Securities Commission Emad Abu Haltam.
