ASTANA – King of Jordan Abdullah II Bin Al Hussein will pay an official visit to Kazakhstan on Nov. 5-6 at the invitation of President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, Aibek Smadiyarov, the president’s press secretary, announced on his Telegram channel on Nov. 4. The two leaders will discuss ways to expand bilateral cooperation in trade, investment, economic relations, culture and humanitarian affairs. During King Abdullah II’s August 2025 visit to Kazakhstan, the leaders reaffirmed their commitment to closer ties and broader cooperation. Tajik President Emomali Rahmon will also visit Kazakhstan on Nov. 5-7 at Tokayev’s invitation. The leaders are expected to discuss further strengthening their strategic partnership and allied relations. Meanwhile, Astana will host an Aqaba Process summit on Nov. 6, bringing together several heads of state.
