Mr. Ihab Barghouth Appointed General Manager of Crowne Plaza Dead Sea and Holiday Inn Dead Sea

 InterContinental Hotels & Resorts Group announced the appointment of Mr. Ihab Barghouth as General Manager of Crowne Plaza Dead Sea and Holiday Inn Dead Sea, effective 1 October 2026. The appointment reflects the group’s direction toward strengthening operational leadership and supporting growth and performance across its hotels in the Kingdom.

Mr. Barghouth has extensive experience in the hospitality sector and has worked with a number of global hotel brands. He possesses advanced expertise in hotel operations management, commercial strategy, revenue management, and business development, in addition to holding leadership positions in multiple international markets and managing hotels and resorts of an operational nature.

He recently served as Pre-Opening General Manager at Amaya View Hotel and also worked at Radisson Hotel Riyadh Airport. He previously led the pre-opening of Pullman Doha West Bay Gulf and oversaw its operations during the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, achieving strong results throughout his career in revenue, profitability, guest satisfaction, and employee engagement.

During his career he has also held a number of leadership positions, including General Manager roles and regional and cluster positions in revenue management, which gave him experience combining operational leadership, commercial vision, team development, and sustainable performance.
