The Kingdom is affected, On Wednesday, by an extension of an upper air depression accompanied by a cold air mass and active northwest winds, with strong gusts of up to 60 kilometers per hour in some areas, and causing dust, especially in the desert areas.
Temperatures decline to become relatively cold in most areas and moderate in Jordan valley, Dead sea, and Aqaba, and gradually clouds appear at low altitudes.
According to the report of the Meteorological Department, today, Thursday, another tangible drop in temperatures will occur, to record 8-9 degrees lower than the general average for this time of the year ,light showers of rain in the north of the Kingdom, and the northwest winds are brisk.
On Friday, the weather will remain cold in the mountainous highlands and plains, with moderate heat in the Jordan valley, Dead sea, and Aqaba with clouds at low altitudes and strong northwestern winds.
On Saturday, temperatures are rising slightly, remaining about 4-5 degrees Celsius below normal, and the weather is relatively cold in most areas and moderate in the Jordan valley, Dead sea, and Aqaba with some clouds at low altitudes and moderate northwestern winds.
The greatest and lowest temperatures in eastern Amman, On Wednesday, range between 17-6 Celsius, and in western Amman 15-4, in the northern highlands 14-4, in Al-Shara’a heights 15-3, and in the Badia regions 21-5, in the Plains areas 18-7 and in the northern Joran valley 24-14, in the southern Jordan valley 27-15, in the Dead sea 25-14 and in the Gulf of Aqaba 27-15 Celsius.
