During a phone call on Saturday, the leaders discussed the escalating situation in the region. King Abdullah reiterated his condemnation of the attacks on Jordanian territory, affirming Jordan's commitment to taking all necessary measures to safeguard its security, stability, and the safety of its citizens.
President Sisi expressed Egypt's full solidarity and support for Jordan, condemning any infringement upon the sovereignty, security, and stability of Arab nations.
Both leaders underscored the importance of resolving tensions through dialogue and diplomatic channels. King Abdullah stressed the need to intensify Arab efforts to mobilize effective international support aimed at de-escalating the current situation.
