Jordan's King Abdullah II and Qatar's Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani have jointly called for an immediate cessation of escalating tensions in the region and the opening of dialogue to restore stability. This appeal followed a phone call between the two leaders on Saturday, during which they discussed the unfolding developments across the Middle East.
Both King Abdullah and Sheikh Tamim voiced strong condemnation of the recent Iranian targeting of Jordanian and Qatari territories, as well as other Arab nations. They underscored the urgent need to halt further escalation to avoid additional conflict.
During their conversation, the leaders emphasized the importance of sustained bilateral coordination. This collaboration aims to implement necessary measures to safeguard the security, stability, and sovereignty of both Jordan and Qatar.
