Jordan has strongly condemned Iranian attacks on its territory and other regional states, denouncing the actions as unjustified aggression and a violation of its sovereignty.
Jordan's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ayman Safadi affirmed the Kingdom's absolute condemnation of Iranian missile attacks, deeming them a dangerous and unwarranted assault on Jordan's security, the safety of its citizens, and a breach of its sovereignty.
During phone calls with counterparts, Safadi emphasized that Jordan is taking all necessary measures to protect the safety of its citizens, its security, and its sovereignty from these attacks, which Iran launched without any justification, despite knowing Jordan's efforts to resolve the crisis peacefully and prevent the use of its territory or airspace in any attack against it.
Safadi also conveyed Jordan's absolute condemnation of Iranian attacks on the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Kuwait, stressing Jordan's complete solidarity with these nations and its support for any steps they take to protect their security, stability, sovereignty, and the safety of their citizens.
The Jordanian minister affirmed that Jordan continues to coordinate and work with allies to end regional tensions, de-escalate conflicts, and promote security and stability in the region. He emphasized the need for restraint, advocating for diplomatic solutions and dialogue as a means to overcome crises and uphold international law and the sovereignty of states to maintain regional security and stability.
Safadi's communications included discussions with the foreign ministers of the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Syria, Qatar, Kuwait, Egypt and Indonesia.
He also spoke with the foreign ministers of Germany, Spain, Italy, Britain, Belgium, Sweden, France, Cyprus, Latvia, Luxembourg, Norway and Austria.
The ministers emphasized their countries' solidarity with Jordan and their support for all steps and measures Jordan is taking to protect the safety of its citizens, its security, and its sovereignty.
