Oura, the Finnish smart ring company, is expanding its focus on women's health with a new artificial intelligence model designed to provide personalized guidance based on the ring's data.

The company's first proprietary AI system, currently being tested in Oura labs within the "Oura Advisor," aims to transform raw data into actionable insights, according to a report.

Unlike previous Advisor updates that utilized general AI systems, the new tool operates on a custom model built upon women's health research reviewed by medical professionals.

The system interprets long-term trends – including sleep, menstrual cycle tracking, activity, stress, and signals related to pregnancy – through a broader lens of women's health to deliver contextual guidance, the company said.

Oura is marketing the feature as a conversational tool rather than a medical service, emphasizing that responses are designed to be supportive and non-dismissive.
