Activity around the U.S. Embassy in Amman, Jordan, remains normal, according to reports, even as regional tensions simmer. This comes as Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Defense reported a drone attack on the U.S. Embassy in Riyadh, causing a limited fire and minor material damage.

The Amman embassy vicinity is experiencing typical traffic flow and a visible security presence, according to a local correspondent. Authorities have issued safety guidelines for residents in the area.

The Public Security Directorate urged residents near the U.S. Embassy in Amman to take precautions upon hearing sirens. These include staying indoors until any threat subsides (indicated by a continuous siren), closing windows and staying away from them.

Drivers are advised to stop their vehicles immediately and seek shelter in the nearest building, preferably near stairwells, until the threat is over. The directorate emphasized that these precautionary measures are for public safety and should not cause panic, advising everyone to adhere to them.

In Riyadh, the Saudi Ministry of Defense stated that the U.S. Embassy was attacked by two drones, according to preliminary assessments. The attack resulted in a limited fire and minor material damage to the building.

The correspondent stressed the importance of following Public Security instructions, avoiding unnecessary travel near the embassy, and refraining from stopping to take pictures.
