Issuance of a Law Amending the Labor Law No. 10 of 2023

On Sunday, amended by Labor Law No. (10) Of 2023 and read
with Law No. (8) Of 1996 on the original law and the amendment thereto of one
law and shall enter into force two years after the date of its publication.
The amendment of Article (10) of the original law includes
the abolition of the phrase (or licensing the establishment of offices for this
purpose) at the end of paragraph (a) thereof and replacing it with the phrase
(or contracting with any party inside or outside the Kingdom in accordance with
a regulation issued for this purpose or licensing the following, companies
specialized in a specific activity that employ Jordanian workers working for
them and contracts with employers to provide them with these workers, in
addition to companies whose purposes are mediation to employ Jordanians inside
and outside the Kingdom).
It also includes the repeal of the text of paragraph (c)
thereof and its replacement with the following text: (c) Regulating all matters
related to the employment, recruitment or employment of workers stipulated in
paragraphs (a) and (b) of this article, including determining the terms,
conditions, procedures, fees, licensing of companies and offices, renewing
their license, cases of cancellation, management and supervision of the
Ministry, and determining the allowance for services provided by such companies
and offices under regulations issued for this purpose.
