Discussion of enhancing economic relations between Jordan and Panama

The First Vice
President of the Jordan Chamber of Commerce Jamal Al-Rifai, during his meeting
with the Ambassador of the Republic of Panama to the Kingdom, José Ulysses
Lisskoura, ways to enhance economic and trade relations between the two
countries, and the role of the chambers of commerce in this regard.
According to a
statement by the Chamber on Saturday, during the meeting held at Jordan Trade
Headquarters, cooperation mechanisms were held on several economic issues of
mutual interest and the importance of developing a plan to develop trade
exchanges and strengthen the partnership between the two countries.
They also discussed
sectors of common interest, especially seafood, Dead Sea products, medicines,
potash, and phosphates.
The meeting emphasized
the need to hold a joint business forum, prepare a study on exports, imports,
and sectors of mutual interest between the two countries, exchange information
related to investment opportunities, and establish a joint Jordanian-Panamanian
business council.
The meeting was
attended by the Third Vice-President of the Chamber, Odeh Al-katetat, members
of the Board of Directors, Khaled Krishan and Jawad Al-Batoush, and the
representative of the health sector and medicines and its supplies in the
Chamber, Dr. Tayseer Younis.
