Abu Duaij crowned with the gold of the Arab Wrestling Championship

‏The player of the national freestyle wrestling team, Abdul Karim Abu Duaij, was crowned on Sunday with the gold medal, within the competitions of the Arab Championship, which was held in the holy city of Mecca, Saudi Arabia.

Abu Duaij succeeded in winning the gold medal in the 92 kg weight competition, after winning three consecutive fights. 


Abdul Karim Abu Duaij was able to surpass the Saudi player by the technical difference in the quarter-finals, and then beat the Moroccan player by points in the semi-finals to face in the final African champion the Algerian player and decide the match in his favor by 8-7 and win the gold medal.

The delegation of the national team to the Arab Championship consists of the head of the delegation, a member of the General Authority of the Jordan Wrestling Federation, Saleh Al-Zuraikat, accompanied by the coach of the national team, Hani Al-Marafi, the players Abdul Karim Abu Duaij weighing 92 kg, the player Abdullah Makan weighing 79 kg, the player Mohammed Ishaq weighed 45 kg, the referees Haitham Al-Araj and Mohammed Buffalous, and the team's therapist Omar Lafi.
