Very cold weather today, with intermittent light showers in the west of the Kingdom

Today, Sunday, temperatures will drop slightly, and the weather will be very cold and partly cloudy in most regions, with the possibility of light and intermittent showers of rain in the western parts of the Kingdom, and the wind will be northwesterly moderate.

  In its report, the Meteorological Department warns of the danger of low horizontal visibility due to fog in the morning hours over the highlands and desert areas, and of the possibility of frost and frost formation in the early morning hours over the high mountain heights and parts of the desert regions, and of the danger of slipping on the roads in areas that witness precipitation.

Tomorrow, Monday, a slight rise in temperatures will occur, and the weather will be cold in most regions, with the appearance of some clouds at different heights, and the wind will be southeasterly moderate. 

 On Tuesday, the weather will be cold in most regions, with the appearance of some clouds at low altitudes, and gradually with the noon hours, the Kingdom will be affected by a weak state of atmospheric instability, so clouds multiply at different altitudes and the weather turns from partly cloudy to cloudy, and there is a possibility of light showers.  From rain in separate places in the Kingdom, and the winds are southeasterly moderate, brisk at intervals that may raise dust in the desert areas. 

 On Wednesday, the weather will be cold in most regions and partly cloudy, with showers of rain falling in the north and center of the Kingdom and parts of the southwestern regions, with the possibility in the morning hours of light showers of snow over the peaks of the Sharah Mountains for a limited and ineffective period, and the northwest winds will be moderate.  The speed is active at intervals that may raise dust in the desert areas.

  The maximum and minimum temperatures in eastern Oman today range between 2-9 degrees Celsius, in western Amman 0-7, in the northern highlands 6--1, in the Sharah heights 9--2, in the desert areas 13-1, and in the plains.  2-10, 9-17 in the northern valley, 11-19 in the southern valley, 10-18 in the Dead Sea, and 9-19 in the Gulf of Aqaba.
