When the president of Gaza Club visited to congratulate the teams on winning the Jordan Cup, Bashar Al-Hawamda, the president of Al-Wihdat Club, made a suggestion that was not new at the discussion table: he suggested that Hawamda consider the Palestinian player as a local player rather than a professional because it would benefit both Palestinian and Jordanian sports. Hawamda claims that the idea strengthens the rights of Palestinian athletes to have a professional presence, but observers believe that the proposal serves no one's interests and has implications that go beyond sports.

According to Hawamda, this proposition is crucial, highlighting the fact that a Palestinian player's registration is seen as local and vice versa; a local Jordanian player in the Palestinian League supports the notion of one people and unity. While noting that the Palestinian player receives small compensation and that during the challenging time with Jordanian clubs h e believed the proposal was mutually beneficial and he continued to know Gaza's players who were willing to play in exchange for only meeting their basic needs.

In particular, Palestinian sport was the first to support and support Jordanian players by making them professionals in the Palestinian League. The plan was quite helpful, especially since recruiting the Gazan player was never a problem. According to Hawamda, this proposition is crucial, highlighting the fact that a Palestinian player's registration is seen as local and vice versa; a local Jordanian player in the Palestinian League supports the notion of one people and unity. According to him, the plan aids the Palestinian player in strengthening his physical condition, giving him a better chance to transition into the professional ranks, and providing him with additional options.

Contrarily, political analyst Hamada Fara'an stated that Palestinians are Palestinians and Jordanians, and that they should not be confused unless there is a future unitary coalition merger relationship. As a result, in the Jordanian League and generally speaking, any Palestinian citizen, whether a player or not, is to be treated as a non-Jordanian Palestinian.
He joined Al-Anbat, but due to the unique hardships that Palestinians experience as a result of the occupation, he was given treatment that was above and beyond what any other nationality would receive in Jordan. This was done out of respect, honor, and support for the Palestinian people, but it did not imply that he was regarded as a local player. He went on to say that there was no threat to the Egyptian, Tunisian, or any other Arab identities, but that the Palestinian identity was seriously at risk, which is why the plan was unacceptable in Jordanian sport but not in Egypt or Tunisia. The Zionist colonial aim must not be aided by allowing Palestinians to live in Jordan while the enemy strives to depopulate Palestine. The Palestinian people's right to remain on their land, in their nation, and to maintain their identity is something we cardinal have a responsibility to uphold. The exception and its particular treatment are highly laudable.

In a similar spirit, Captain Othman al-Hasanat stated to Al-Anbat that while we might claim the idea is a straightforward aid at the sporting level, it is well known that the Palestinian player's situation is physically more comfortable than that of the Jordanian player. The Jordanian athlete is trying to become a professional in Palestinian sports, but from a political standpoint, neither the Palestinian people nor the Palestinian cause will benefit from this plan. Also pointed out that the working associations of the idea, like the Egyptian Federation, for instance, have a strong league and are thus numerically the proposal's beneficiaries independent of political inclinations, the Egyptian player is also almost ready to compete in the Gulf. The Palestinian athlete would have the chance to represent his country in both sports and media, as well as among Egyptian League fans and the rest of the globe, if he were to be viewed as a local player. Contrary to the proposed work in Jordanian sport, Jordan has always supported Palestine and the Palestinian player because the league suffers and is poor in comparison to other leagues' empathy and support. The idea is to support the Palestinian player by helping the Palestinian League, being professional, etc.

Regarding the Palestinian player being regarded as local, he clarified that it was a contract with the number of professionals, meaning that if 6 players who were regarded as local and non-professional were contracted, it would be difficult for the Palestinian player to benefit from this proposal because, if he offered to play, he would demand a high sum equal to what he receives from the Palestinian League. According to them, several of the Palestinian athletes who played in the Jordanian League were given contracts for significant salaries that were comparable to those in the Palestinian League.
