Al-Momani for "Al- Anbat": New training programs targeting engineers

The head of the Training, Employment and Profession Practice Department at the Engineers Association, Engineer Tareq Al-Momani, announced a training program that will be launched soon by the Union in cooperation with the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ), the Training and Employment Program with the GIZ, indicating that this program came to compensate the trainee engineers for Previous programs that have been discontinued.

He continued in his conversation with  "Al - Anbat" about the new program that it is concerned with training 300,000 male and female trainees in the construction and contracting sectors, explaining that the union includes all disciplines in the training programmes, but these sectors focus more on the disciplines of civil and architectural engineering, electricity and mechanics, and mining.

He added that the number of trainees in the programs offered by the union has reached 2,260 male and female trainees since the beginning of this year.

It is worth noting that the GIZ program is funded by 60% from the German association GIZ and 40% from the union, and that the union always seeks to cooperate with more than one party to open new training programs and empower engineers after graduation and qualify them for the labor market, according to Momani.
