Meeting with the president and members of the General Union of Mines and Mining Workers, Al-Thneibat said that Phosphates Company is ranked 82 among the most valuable and profitable companies in the Middle East.
 
Al-Thneibat : Improving the company's performance, increasing production, and enhancing its competitiveness are among the priorities of the Board of Directors and Executive Management.

The cooperation and efforts of employees and teamwork are among the reasons for the unprecedented achievements of Phosphates.

The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Jordan Phosphate Mines Company, Dr. Muhammad Al-Thneibat, confirmed that the many measures taken by the company had a significant impact on the qualitative leap witnessed by the company in terms of production, sales, and profits, which, by the end of the third quarter of this year, exceeded 600 million dinars.

This came during his meeting with the General Assembly of the Mines, Mining, and Cement Workers Union, in the presence of a number of members of the company’s board of directors and the CEO, Eng. Abdul-Wahab Al-Rawad, the head of the union, Khaled Al-Fanatsa, the head of the General Union of Jordanian Workers, Mazen Al-Maaytah, and members of the union’s council and union committees.

Dr. Al-Thneibat confirmed that the company, thanks to the achievements and results it continues to achieve, ranked 82 among the largest, most valuable, and most profitable companies in the Middle East, while its market value doubled to reach $4.5 billion.
He said that upgrading work, improving performance, increasing production, continuing to control expenses, moving towards manufacturing industries, and searching for new markets and partnerships all fall on the list of concerns and priorities of the company's board of directors and its executive management.

Dr. Al-Thneibat attributed the qualitative achievements of the company to the cooperation of workers in the field, their dedication and dedication to work, teamwork, and a framework of responsibility, in addition to other measures, including controlling expenses, reducing mining costs, and increasing production, referring to plans and projects. The company will implement it in the future.

Dr. Al-Thneibat also presented, during the meeting, the company's significant contributions within the framework of social responsibility for this year, which included its various areas of operation, particularly in the southern region, by supporting the municipalities of Ma'an, Al-Hassa, Al-Husseiniya, Al-Jafr, Al-Sultani, Tafila, Al-Hashimiya, Irbid, Karak, and Al-Rsayfa.

Besides other measures such as control of expenses, reduction of the cost of mining and increase of production, indicating the plans and future projects to be implemented by the company.

He said that the company's board of directors worked to enhance the concept of institutional work, openness, and transparency in all the procedures taken by the company, in addition to working with the executive management in a team spirit and supporting the efforts of workers in the field.

Dr. Al-Thneibat valued the efforts of the members of the Board of Directors and the executive management, the president and members of the General Syndicate of Mines and Mining, and all workers in the company’s various sites, subsidiaries, and allied companies, which contributed to achieving these unprecedented achievements and results in the history of the company, stressing in this context the importance of the relationship between the company and the union and its complementarity. in the interest of work and in the interest of its continuity and permanence.

In turn, the CEO of the company, Eng. Abdul Wahab Al-Rawad, presented the company's current and future plans, programs, and projects, as well as the establishment of many new factories in cooperation with a number of partners from inside and outside Jordan.
He said that the company is continuing its projects and strategic plans in order to ensure the continuation of progress and construction and the accumulation of achievements to reach more achievements and results, by concluding strategic agreements with new partners and investors to ensure an increase in the market share of phosphates and using the latest international methods to improve, develop, and diversify production.

For his part, the head of the General Syndicate of Mines and Mining Workers, Khaled Zaher Al-Fanatsa, said that this unprecedented achievement in the company's history, represented in the financial results and the distinguished profits that it achieved, outweighs its achievements since its establishment.

Al-Fanatsa attributed these profits to the company’s prudent management approach, stressing that what the company has achieved enhances its position and presence at the local and foreign levels and its ability to compete in global markets, and contributes to opening new horizons for it to enable it to achieve its goals and expansion plans, as well as more job security for employees. He called on all workers to continue with this pace of work so that the Phosphate Mines Company remains at the forefront of national economic institutions.
He stressed the union's keenness to preserve the workers' rights and gains and to maintain channels of meaningful and positive dialogue between all parties, appreciating the company's management for holding these purposeful meetings with the union.
In turn, the head of the General Federation of Jordan Trade Unions, Mazen Al-Maaytah, praised the achievements of the Jordan Phosphate Mines Company, represented by the record profits achieved by the end of the third quarter of this year.

He said that the qualitative achievements came as a result of the sincere efforts of the Board of Directors, the executive management, and the employees of the company to serve Jordan and the national economy, and of the distinguished relationship with the union and the workers, which is based on mutual respect and appreciation of achievement.

During the meeting, a number of unionists representing the General Authority of the Syndicate and its Board of Directors expressed their pride in the unprecedented achievements of the Jordan Phosphate Mines Company, praising the management of the company and its keenness to upgrade the company and improve its performance.
They also expressed their appreciation for the efforts made by the Chairman of the Board of Directors and the Executive Management to enhance the reality of the company, stressing that the measures taken by the Board of Directors reflected greatly on the reality of its work and the conditions of its employees.
