The Lion's meteor shower, which is a heavy and good meteor shower for the year, will be visible in Jordan and the Arab world on November 17 and 18.

On average, about 30 to 40 meteors can be seen per hour, according to the World
Meteor Organization's expectations.

According to spatial studies of meteor showers, they will be observed around midnight on Thursday and Friday local time, and the culmination will be on seventeen and eighteen during the current month, according to astrological expert Emad Mujahed, a member of the Arab Union for Astronomy and Space.

He pointed out that the comets are the main source of meteors, where comets  leave during approach from the sun a huge amount of dust atoms between the planets during their approach to the sun in space from a river of dust, which pronounced that when the earth passes through the dust river that the comet left, the meteors relatively will appear with a huge number, and are called meteors showers from the side of the celestial constellation, which meteors appear on its side of the sky.
