Head of the Digital Media Department at the Middle East University, Dr. Mahmoud Al-Rajabi, said that he believes that there is a teaching life specialized in digital media in the Jordanian universities to some extent, and that some institutions are moving in the right direction in this field, stressing that the importance of digital media lies in its role in organizing what is being broadcasted and published through the digital platforms, and indicated that he considers "social media platforms” one of the main media.

He stressed that studying digital media leads to a comprehensive media industry, by focusing on mastering digital media techniques such as montage, infographics and content production, in addition to the journalist's basic skills such as editing and writing reports.

And he stressed for the necessity of focusing in our homes and within the same family on the issue of creating content that includes ethical dimensions and certain standards, and to integrate media education materials even into school curricula.

On the other hand, the Dean of the Faculty of Mass Communication at Zarqa University, Dr. Amjad Al-Safouri, stated that the study of digital media provides many job opportunities for media graduates and enables the journalist to deal with digital platforms and social media sites in terms of media, in accordance with the professional and ethical rules of the profession media.

In his interview with Al-Anbat, he continued, that the courses that are being taught in digital media colleges include digital applications that qualify students in the field of digital technologies in line with the requirements of the labor market, in addition to journalism, radio and accredited television courses taught in media colleges, explaining that Jordanian universities have developed Recently, special programs to keep abreast of developments in the field of digital media at the bachelor's level, and a program specialized in digital media was launched at the master's level at Zarqa University.

He noted that the field of digital media needs faculty members with multiple skills, stressing that this approach is supported by media faculties by involving media professors in advanced courses in digital editing, data journalism, mobile phone, electronic digital applications, and infographics, in addition to digital montage. He pointed out that the adoption of digital media materials with their analytical and descriptive functions is beneficial for all sectors and provides specialized materials in a deeper way to serve the reader.
