Candidacy withdrawal window closes today: IEC
Al-Anbat - Candidates, who signed up for the forthcoming parliamentary elections, slated for November 10, and wish to withdraw from the race, have today (October 31) as the last day to do so.
Candidates can only withdraw their applications 10 days prior to the election day, Spokesman for the Independent Election Commission (IEC) Jihad Momani told Petra on Saturday.
He added that any withdrawal request submitted after October 31st will not be accepted and all names of candidates will appear on ballot papers.
