One dead, 2 injured in Aqaba road accident

Alanbatnews - One person died and two others sustained various injuries in a collision between a vehicle and a trailer truck near Aqaba governorate, 330km south of Amman, according to the Civil Defense Department (CDD).

CDD media office said in a statement on Thursday that Aqaba's rescue teams rushed to the scene, administered first aid to the injured, evacuated the body and transferred the injured to Quweira Military Medical Center.

The injured were reported to be in moderate to serious condition, the statement added.
