Turkey's gaming industry has surged past the $1 billion mark, driven by a vast digital user base and strategic investments, solidifying its position as a key player in the global gaming market.

The sector's rapid expansion is fueled by increasing internet penetration and a growing interest in esports, marking a significant transformation in the country's digital economy.

According to the "Gaming in Turkey 2025" report, revenues reached approximately $1.01 billion, a substantial increase from $810 million in 2024, representing an annual growth rate of 25%.

This robust growth positions Turkey as one of the fastest-growing gaming markets in the region.

The country boasts around 50 million active gamers, with women comprising 46% of the player base, highlighting the widespread appeal of gaming across different demographics.

The increasing accessibility of high-speed internet and fiber optic services has played a crucial role in enhancing the gaming experience, transforming it into a comprehensive blend of entertainment and social interaction.

Ozan Aydemir, CEO of Gaming in Turkey, noted that the global gaming industry is transitioning towards maturity, where success is measured not only by user numbers but also by the quality of digital engagement.

The Turkish gaming investment landscape has become more selective and professional, indicating a market evolution towards sustainable growth.

The report also highlights the diversification of gaming platforms, including smartphones, PCs, and consoles, alongside the rapid growth of the esports sector.
