Army spokesperson Evi Defrin said that Israel is operating in Lebanon with the goal of eliminating a serious threat. He emphasized that all options are on the table and that Israel is determined to disarm Hezbollah.
These developments follow a rocket barrage launched by Hezbollah towards Israel on Sunday evening, triggering retaliatory actions.
According to updated official figures, Israeli strikes in Lebanon on Monday resulted in 52 fatalities. The Israeli military maintains that it is targeting Hezbollah assets.
A report from the Lebanese government's disaster management unit indicates that the strikes have caused 52 deaths and 154 injuries. Additionally, approximately 28,500 people have been displaced from their homes as a result of the ongoing conflict.
