The data also revealed that the domestic producer price index increased by 2.43% on a monthly basis in February, marking an annual increase of 27.56%. This reflects ongoing price pressures at the production cost level.
In January, monthly inflation had risen to 4.84%, exceeding expectations, while the annual rate had decreased to 30.65%.
