Jordan's Prime Minister Orders Upgrades to Northern Region Facilities

Jordan's Prime Minister has directed comprehensive upgrades and support for several facilities in the northern governorates of Ajloun and Irbid, aiming to improve services and create job opportunities, according to reports.

During a tour of the region, the Prime Minister instructed officials to undertake a complete renovation of the Irhaba Charitable Society in the Mazar al-Shamali district. The upgrades will include providing necessary equipment and supplies to ensure the society can continue and expand its services to a larger number of beneficiaries.

In the Mazar al-Shamali district, the Prime Minister also directed the conversion of the Irhaba Primary Health Center into a comprehensive health center. This change is intended to enhance the healthcare services available to citizens, with the center operating around the clock.

Furthermore, the Prime Minister inspected the Samad and Za'atra Primary Health Center, also in Mazar al-Shamali. He ordered the swift provision of an alternative building for the center and instructed that necessary maintenance be carried out on the existing building until the new facility is ready.

The Prime Minister also visited the Irhaba Secondary School for Girls, where he directed a comprehensive maintenance project to rehabilitate the school's facilities and equip its laboratories with modern equipment to benefit the students.

Earlier in his tour, the Prime Minister visited the Durra Amman Food Industries Company in the Sakhr district and directed that the necessary support be provided to complete its expansion and relocate to a new site. The goal is to increase production and exports and include the company in a program to stimulate food industries, which would help to double employment opportunities for local residents.

Additionally, the Prime Minister visited the Traditional Fashion Company for Clothing Manufacturing in the Sakhr district. He directed that support be provided to establish another factory for the company, which is expected to create 1,200 job opportunities. He also suggested a broader health coverage for workers in the production branches and an expansion of vocational training programs with new specializations in clothing manufacturing to enhance the skills of the workforce.
